As I created this piece I felt an overwhelming sense of something unfolding. A certain healing that came from the clouds as they grew in form, shape shifted and eventually became what you see here.

Unfolding, shifting, expanding, drifting
I’ve held you quietly in my heart
Not speaking a word, yet never forgetting
I’m sorry, I turned away
The hurt was too much
I’ll remember you always of what could have been
I’ll be letting go now
Sailing with the clouds
I release the pain, but never the memory
With the clouds you’ll be
Coming and going I’ll look up and smile
